Re: Do you see the power?

Can you let me know when you've seen it and tell me what you think about what he says. Much appreciated. Okay... I’m making notes so I can remember to give you my honest impressions... (which are favorable so far) 5 seconds into the introduction and I’m sure this guy has tripped on some psychedelic...

What (that you are not making up) has made you conclude that I am a blind denier?

Re: How did knowing God change you?

All of this has been slowly and simultaneously happening to me which has resulted in a real and consistent peace of mind. I very much relate to both of your last two posts. To find freedom for one's state of mind feels unlike anything else I have known. Acceptance and letting go. No drugs... no god...

Re: Why atheists compare God to santa

I can see how COMPLETELY NATURAL it is to experience such connection and harmony in the flow... when one gets oneself out of the way. I would call this observable and measurable! And there is no "god" for me. For others, though, the notion of God into creates a human connection with which they can ...

Whew. At least now I know I'm not the only one to see Lacewing that way. 8) Oh, of course not. Lots of self-absorbed theists who like to stroke themselves and don't want to answer questions about what they say, find my questions irritating. I don't think you should be boasting that you and Atto are...

Do you think you are the only one, and if so, please explain why you think that makes sense for a god.

You can't get to heaven until you learn to LOVE your life!

Doesn't that make more sense? Life being a gift from God? Why would you need to hate it to earn heaven. So twisted!

Re: How did knowing God change you?

The impression that I get is that Atto. thinks he knows God and the rest of us don't. So let's see... how many does that make on this site now who believe that they, alone, have access to divine knowing? What is this, some sort of epidemic of insanity? Is there some kind of worm eating people's bra...

Space is nothing, so nothing is separating you from your washing machine.

Well come on, then. Put your thinking cap on. You must be able to think of a freak situation where panic is called for. I think the examples set forth by HC and FDP have been very creative. But, I agree... there must be SOME situation where panic would be the best response. Um... how about if you'r...
