As the title is asking, does the statement that....

There is such a reality as non-X for any and every X.

...stand true universally? (as a Tautology for reality)
What reality?

Re: are women to blame for tyranny?

Yes I would. Though mind you it would probably be a bit late by then. For them to blame the Nazis would be entirely useless, they were not the sort of people to take notice of a bit of criticism from the Jews. And of course some Jews did take responsibility for the situation and wisely fled the cou...

Re: Does a pregnant woman carry a human being/person or just 'life'/meat?

People have rights if they give themselves rights and claim those rights. Then their "rights" are only theirs if they have strong arms, and those arm remain permanently strong. The minute they weaken in their ability to enforce their "rights," they will lose them to somebody stronger, or some group...

Re: Does a pregnant woman carry a human being/person or just 'life'/meat?

There are no absolute moral laws any more. Generally I think that people who would prevent a woman's right to her own body... You're assuming she HAS a right to "her own body." Sorry, but nobody has a right to "their own" body. At most, we have temporary responsibility for it. But our option to use...

Re: are women to blame for tyranny?

The ones who were able to. I love it when people say 'they should have left' as if it was an easy task. While I am always happy to bring joy to contributors to this forum, it should be noted that I did not say 'they should have left', in fact I said nothing like that, nor is it what I intended to s...

Is that the advice you'd give to the Jews who were in Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps in the 1940's ? Yes I would. Though mind you it would probably be a bit late by then. Re: are women to blame for tyranny?

People love to blame others for most everything.. it helps them feel good about themselves.. blame the left, blame the right, blame terrorists, blame men, blame women, blame the rich , blame the poor... etc. etc. etc.. But if you have a problem and you really want to do something about it... blame ...

Re: People dont understand me by my speech

yes, excellent movie - much better than the latter remake with Lancaster (a greater actor - top 10 of all time IMO, but that latter movie kinda sucked). aside, the "other guy" in Zulu kinda sucked, i noted him in the other excellent movie "Hell's Drivers" - where he was "star" - but as i noted in Z...

Re: People dont understand me by my speech

not sue i understand your post. Zulu was a great movie and one the fist ones with Caine i could understand what he was saying. Caine never acquired an American accent, he just moderated his more natural-earlier cockney to more - knings englishish - or slowed his talk down - or whatever - whatever h...

Re: People dont understand me by my speech

try finding old Caine works - he was a horrid cockney! uninteligible. i assume he knew this because post 1970 he was understandable. he had to have worked on it. he was BAD prior to 70. as an american i could not understand anything he said in his early works. love Caine BTW - not disparaging the m...
