Re: Fun with logic, Peano and Constructivism!

If the Mathematical universe was truly immutable no information could ever leave it under observation While it is a deductive discipline that deals in proof it is also a body of knowledge that has increased over time It creates new axioms when there are gaps that have to be filled and so in that se...

They only see the Universe as being emergent even though it may also be infinite

Re: Epistemology, Concepts

Re: Hell

I agree with Age here because for me Reality is simply everything that exists and has existed and will ever exist as well
So it is not necessary to have any true knowledge or understanding of Reality as long as the definition itself is absolute

Re: ALL Humans Ought To Breathe is a Moral Objective

Hume Father of Postmodernism and Anti rationalism I will have to read this because I would have said that the founders of post modernism were Foucault and Sartre and not Hume They developed it in I948 and it was adopted in the humanities and social sciences in Europe after the collapse of Communism

Re: Oneness cannot be completely explained using words.

So the imaginary word frompulteft is not conceptual ? A word without definition or relevance to anything whatsoever is not a concept ? How then did I come up with that word if not through conceptualisation ? We are actually discussing a meaningless term . Apparently there is a lot to be said about ...

Lets discuss the metaphysics of a frompulteft ?
An imaginary word without definition that has no relevance to anything that either exists physically or conceptually
And so from a metaphysical perspective [ either definition ] it is entirely irrelevant until it does acquire a definition

Re: Oneness cannot be completely explained using words.

However there is a subtle difference albeit illusory that that which is not known will and can eventually become known but that which is unknowable can NEVER be known There are also things that are known unknowns and things that are unknown unknowns for both these categories Human knowledge is alwa...

how would a metaphysician study a frompulteft ?
They would define what it was and what it did and also maybe why

Re: Oneness cannot be completely explained using words.

How do you even begin discussing an unknowable thing ? Do you think human beings should limit their discussions to only things that they know ? Do you think human imagination lacks the capability to discuss things it does not know ? There are many things that are not known but this does not stop an...

Re: Oneness cannot be completely explained using words.

When discussing something which is either unknowable or non physical it is usually given a name This is simply for the purpose of identification so that everyone knows what is being referred to In science the name for the non physical is absolute vacuum and so everyone knows what that means Giving a...
