Re: Do you believe in miracles?

Life hasn't always existed on this planet, and we don't know of life anywhere else. Here is another example of 'looking at' things from a very small, narrowed, or shallow perspective of things. I understand the type of life in question to be biological life, so that is the perspective from which I ...

Re: Do you believe in miracles?

 Logically, anything is possible if the conditions are right. Discerning the elements in their proper combination that comprise the conditions is limited by the best of our knowledge. Scientists already know how to deal with insufficient maths. It's as simple as theorizing a new element t...

Re: Do you believe in miracles?

... it would have to defy the laws of nature in such a way that, to the best of our knowledge, it really should not be possible. Logically, anything is possible if the conditions are right. Re: Do you believe in miracles?

I think the maths says dark matter has to be there, but only the Bible says God has to be there. It's not really much of a comparison. https://scitechdaily.com/dark-matter-may-not-exist-these-physicists-favor-of-a-new-theory-of-gravity/#:~:text=Home%20Physics%20News-,Dark%20Matter%20May%20Not%20Exi...

Re: Do you believe in miracles?

No trouble, Harbal. I enjoy your postings, you deserve the time. Logical hypothesis: Under the right conditions, anything can happen. Miracles can happen. The reasoning, as proof. - A condition, or situation, is comprised of elements. - For example, the condition of reading this now, is comprised o...

Re: Do you believe in miracles?

There's a pretty high probability, based on what I know of the world, that a scientist would likely officially agree with that, in this day and age of coerced mind control that gets to be a habit of the mindful and careful so no shock collars necessary become necessary for reminders when tempted to...

Re: Do you believe in miracles?

- Dark Matter is everywhere. It’s most of everything that is. - It’s never been seen, touched, smelled, heard or tasted. - This is accepted, but God is not? - It must be a miracle! I think the maths says dark matter has to be there, but only the Bible says God has to be there. It's not really much ...

Re: Is morality objective or subjective?

I know. It's a mystery. All it suggests is that there is no interest in reasons or evidence. If there are things in nature, the world, the universe, that strike you as beyond explanation, what is wrong with just admitting you don't know the answer? That seems more sensible than just inserting whate...

Re: Is morality objective or subjective?

All your stated reasons for believing in God make absolutely no impression on me, I know. It's a mystery. All it suggests is that there is no interest in reasons or evidence. If there are things in nature, the world, the universe, that strike you as beyond explanation, what is wrong with just admit...

Re: Is morality objective or subjective?

So I want to know what makes these disbelievers, this 4% of actual Atheists, so confident in their denial of what the vast majority of other people find so highly plausible. For me, it is nothing to do with confidence in the denial of God's existence, that would be actively taking a position on the...

Re: I'm straight and tired of gay pride

I am mainly here for entertainment, and you seem to be here to bolster your ego. Let's not get carried away about the significance of any of this. The significance is ultra-serious. But I respect that it is not picked up on your radar. Thank you. I'll try to find something about you to respect. 👍
