Re: In what ethical-theoretical direction do you lean?
I don't have a finite list of options and my mind's unusually bad at standard categorical thinking and memory, so I'll leave it to you to offer your simple , read again: simple , answer, that means contracted for the purpose of a simple read through all people who choose to answer. Should contain a...

Re: Why do good people suffer?
This is one of the greatest problems that troubles philosophers around the world. (and one of the greatest arguments of atheists around the world...) Why do good people suffer? I think the problem can be solved if we understand that it is not really a problem. Who are we to know that suffering is &...

Re: Is evangalism a moral imperative for Christians?
It did used to be didn't it? You would expect it to, wouldn't you? After all, if Christians take Christ at his word when he says, "No one comes to the father except through me", if they believe "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him sh...

Re: What is the Law of Attraction?
There can be no such thing as the law of attraction because every action that happens is random. For example I could think and do one thing, and something else in the environment happens opposite of what I am thinking. So what happens in the environment does not always correlate with my thoughts. Y...

Re: The Atheist Movement Will Restore the Human Soul
If no God helps us with morality, how can we improve morality? How? In exactly the same way that we have done since the dawn of time, before god was even invented. Morality among many people I meet is lacking. In your opinion; by your personal standards, not by their own. I try to be moral, but oth...

Re: The Atheist Movement Will Restore the Human Soul
If no God helps us with morality, how can we improve morality? Morality among many people I meet is lacking. I try to be moral, but others around me act immoral. If morality is all there is, and people believe they can improve themselves morally why are people not doing it? Why do we not have a per...

Re: Was Socrates an atheist?
Socrates does not know if he believes in God or he is an atheist. He knows nothing as to whether or not God exists, but leaves open the possiblity that either God exists or doesn't exist.

Re: Why do some of us believe in God and others do not
Some people probably believe in God because they had good experiences in life, so they feel God exists. The people who don't believe in God probably had bad experiences in life. And some of the people who had bad experiences in life do believe in God because they are desperate not because they had g...

Re: The atheists dilemma
Both atheists and people who believe in God cannot prove their positions completely either way. There is problems with both arguments.
