Re: What causes porn addiction???

Reality for non-philosophers is not a feature of sex that is more desirable than fantasy touch-ups Interesting passage. Could I take this to mean that a 'non-philosopher' does not think purely in sexual terms and as such does not see 'reality' as simply an appendage of sex? Sex has many metaphors. ...

Duncan,

I'll think about calling you. But I'm uncertain if you are a psycho. Rather, a dangerous psycho. I'm not sure I can trust you. Is this a scam to get me into your chair and bill me -- or eat me? And what do I get out of this, is this a charity call?

It might not simply be sexual pleasure that causes an addiction to pornography. We must consider the role of sex within any given society.... Sex, and sexual acti...

Re: The Structure of Science?

Me and Ernest agree that the “main philosophical problem for modern society” is that we need a paradigm for the “science of wo/man”. Have you a paradigm for this new science? Me and Ernest do but we disagree on some aspects.[/b] Gender analysis of language, maths, science... is not cracked-out? htt...

Right, please may I now ask you some questions? Is that you there in the photograph? A man in a t-shirt with stubble? And is that your daughter with you, lending you support? Sorry I forgot that I had introduced myself, I changed the avatar as it seemed a bit inflamatory, but, http://s54.radikal.ru...

This is bloody interesting to say the least. I'm not a genius and don't pretend to be, (if you ever see me posting something that looks clever, it is certainly sarcastic); its gonna take me a few minutes to google everything you mention and figure out just what you're getting at here. I'm not gonna ...

APN, That's right, this section of the forum ought to be full of mental health threads. Here is one of the longest running that involves real people if you care to have a peek, http://iloveopinions.com/index.php?topic=2109.0 . I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hyst...

Jean I am sorry to hear that. I hope that you get the right medication/treatment and it all gets put in the past. Herpes is forever. It comes a few times a year depending on stress, diet and so on. I don't take the drugs as it isn't much of a big deal except for the social stigma -- and long term r...

Got Herpes?

http://s57.radikal.ru/i158/0811/b2/03327d8f81b1.jpg Got herpes? Depending where you live, the odds are from about one or two percent to ninety-nine percent that you do. Herpes is quite an old disease. The Ancient Greeks were aware of herpes; Hippocrates wrote on the disease, etymologically it deriv...
