Re: The Biden Binder

Corruption Concerns Mount ... Nah, it's not as if Hunter was running his father's election campaign or anything: Since their father’s inauguration, they [Don Jr. and Eric] have sold off $110 million of the president’s real estate holdings... Hunter'd better get his painting skates on if he wants to...

Corruption Concerns Mount ... Nah, it's not as if Hunter has security clearance, a West Wing office and a seat at the table with world leaders or anything: The Chinese government granted a total of 41 trademarks to companies linked to Ivanka Trump by April of 2019—and the trademarks she applied for...

Re: The Biden Binder

Corruption Concerns Mount ... Nah, it's not as if Hunter is a White House adviser or anything: On Friday, 3 Aug 2018 Brookfield Asset Management announced it had signed a 99-year lease at 666 Fifth Avenue. Kushner Cos. had sought financing for the building from a Chinese insurer early last year [20...

Re: Justified true belief: knowledge and the myth of propositions

I am largely on board with Peter Holmes on this. Though in real life we bandy words like "true" about as if they were properties of reality, when we come to try and make sense of them philosophically, it's clear, I think, that they are actually just ways of talking about propositions, which are them...

Re: The Line is a Loop

The Big Bang is continually happening ... lol No. The multiplicity of points is a form curving through this singular entity. Ooooh—Word salad! It's a kind of admission that you've run out of credible arguments to defend your indefensible position. That reminds me: Yes, Eodnhoj, I still can't follow...

Re: The Line is a Loop

There seperate positions show the curvature of reality around them. lol No. But let me ask you; if any two points are the same point, doesn't that mean that all points are the same point? So that your line/loop is just a point? Everything is just a point? Everything is just the same point? The enti...

Re: The Line is a Loop

1 Point P is the same as Point Q if and only if P and Q have the same space-time coordinates.

2 If P is Q then a line from P to Q is a line from P to P, which is "a line" in name only.

Re: How discrete perception turns into continuous experience?

I'm not convinced of either premise. Is perception really discrete or is that just how we experience it? Is experience really continuous or is that just how we perceive it?
