Re: Capitalism .V. Socialism

The liberal turds in this thread might find it difficult to comprehend how socialism is the christian ethos in a secular form. The animosity of Communism to the christian faith is explained as an animosity between two different versions of the same philosophy; the same slavishness. Capitalism succe...

Re: You must not kill any living being for the sake of your

After hearing that Eckhart Tolle does eat meat, it occured to me that many vegetarians could be understood as expressing a fear and hatred of death, i.e. ironically, some vegitarianism might be understood as an alienation from life (because "Nothing real can be threatened" -ACIM).

Re: Favourite feminist philosophy texts

I think the blurb is a pastiche of the text? The author is in a small feud with Judy Butler. Braidotti calls Butlerian Pomo too fragile and vulnerable: a bit tinged with the melancholic. I can see Braidotti's calling Butler too fragile as a sexual slur due to Judy being known for her lesbianism; so ...

Re: Favourite feminist philosophy texts

On Putting the Active Back into Activism Rosi Braidotti This paper addresses a paradox: how to engage in affirmative politics, which entails the production of social horizons of hope, while at the same time doing critical theory, which means resisting the present. Drawing on the neo-vitalism of Del...

Re: Empathy

If you don't subscribe to any code, why is that the case? I'm deeply into empathy these days. I see it as helping me to save my life. I was deeply frustrated with jugmentalness and expectations (codes). I have sometimes felt totally disconnected from people, hating them, feeling angry at others and...

Grinder's "mistake", if he were a philosopher primarilly, is limiting himself to modeling humans only; and modeling only those he pecieves himself as admiring.

The blue writing: - You know you're talking about yourself? Aren't we always? - Who brought up the question of mass murder? You know you're talking to yourself? Extreme examples of schizos. Tell me what you learnt about schizophrenia from reflecting on contemporary mass-murderers? - Who are you tal...

Re: Capitalism and Schizophrenia

Doubt it. What I see is two sad and lonely boys rationalising their situation with no ability to communicate nor the ability to make choices or belief that they could change their situation. That they should have been helped earlier is a given. But all I hear from you is idolization and nonsense fo...

Re: Capitalism and Schizophrenia

Description of torture. Training is the problem, not the solution. Trying to make it worse? Minus the "change them" script. Minus the "putting them in a double-bind". Can schizophrenia get much worse? You think the schizophrenic would not change if they could? We assume everythi...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGojJ5tKX-4 Would you care to explain this? It's called displacement. You watch the vid. You make the reply as sort of a magic ritual; as if your anxiety would go into the reply and be destroyed by clicking the reply button. For most people this slight of hand keeps m...
