The protesters approved of the protesters, not the officials and the healthcare professionals. https://time.com/5848212/doctors-supporting-protests/ I can provide more links if you like. I particularly like this... “Risking coronavirus pales in comparison to all the other ways we can die,” says Dr....

Re: perspective, numbers, facts

There is no they . They are elected officials and medical folks who gave the  to protesters & protests after givin' nuthin' but grief to folks who wanted to go to the park, run a business, have a meal away from home, or just sit on the beach alone. I haven’t heard of any elected officials...

It's the number of deaths that concerns people--and that can't be falsified. But they can be falsified. If protocol sez a death with beer virus is to be counted as a death because of beer virus, right there you got falsification . If a death is classified as because of beer virus when no test is co...

as I reckon it...

place unwanted kittens in a sack and throw that sack in the river. Inhumane, not immoral. The kittens aren't people, they're animals. If instead of tossin' 'em in the river, I quietly, humanely, put them down: am I actin' immorally? What if I take the now-deceased parrots, er kittens, skin 'em and ...

Re: perspective, numbers, facts

I have not heard anyone approve of maskless protesters in close proximity. Not anyone on either side of the issue. Not anyone. Me neither. But they approved of the protests . They approved as thousands of people in multiple locations spilled out into the streets. Did they , did you , believe those ...

Re: good morning, forum!

Indeed. I've been wondering why covid cases are accelerating but deaths seem to be going down. It could be that deaths haven't had time to catch up with cases (many people linger) or that many more young people are getting it (and they have a much lower death rate). Also (and I'll post on this late...

Apparently no one has the virus that anyone knows. I figured I'd be slammed with anecdotal examples, but not a peep. Odd, that! Well, let's look at some (U.S.) numbers... The official total count for cases is 2,794,321. That's all of 'em in one number; asymptomatics who tested positive, mild and mo...
