Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

There is no phenomenon to prove here. It is so far from the need for proof - you have to start with some evidence. There is none. Why does anyone have to start with evidence as you wish it? Because of there is no evidence, there is nothing to look at, nothing to examine, nothing to talk about. Seem...

This is not a science forum, and even if it was I don't think it would be an obligation, just a courtesy. But...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

There are miracles and there are miracles. Do you think that if a person was diseased with terrorism and prayed to Osama Bin Laden that he/she would be cured of it and OB canonised, like the way that person with Parkinsons prayed to John Paul, who had Parkinsons - I seem to recall - and was cured, a...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

I am still interested. Its just that I find that there is a lot of over-interest and under-interest. My argument has been that there is no point in looking for proof for something that can't be proved (scientifically). The lead post was a stab at the possible explanation of telepathy via a wild sort...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

Whoah! slow down a bit guys! I'm not offering proof. The experiences I had I took with a grain of salt and put no more weight in them then that. Indeed, I only just recalled them this morning after being interested in this thread for some weeks now. They're just personal experiences that don't matte...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

I heard you God Mother too! It's called imagination. The same thing happened when my Uncle died, though he was on the other side of Australia. I was in the garden and felt/heard him. I hadn't as much as given him a few seconds of thought for years. I recall distinctly how the phenomenon made me sto...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

Quantum science is a new avenue for explaining telepathy that gets no further than preceding explanations. In fact the explanations seem to have became weaker due to the even more inaccessible nature of something like quantum science. "Subliminal self" was at least simple: http://query.nyt...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

I think it helps open up what we are looking into - or attempting to. Due to the importance of language to modern humans, telepathy is associated with language and therefore sound. An exploration of sound in the manner outlined in the quote could be a strong aid to anyone interested in telepathy.

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

From the cleargreen.com website. I thought it was a good take, a broader view on what it is to hear in an alternative way. Our doings in the daily world, don Juan Matus said, often obscure our awareness of another mysterious and interconnected world that awaits our discovery. Not-doing, he said, is ...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

Philosophy is bound by rational thinking? No.

I think there is a case for emortality.

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

Titonos, the boyfriend of Eos, was made immortal by Zeus but he became older and older. Eos had forgotten to ask Zeus to give him eternal youth too. So she was crying about this tragedy and had to go again to Zeus and to ask him to let Titonos die. I hope to become an immortal spirit after I die. T...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

I don't feel anything but positive on the whole with the fact I am going to die. Living forever would be much worse, think of the boredom! Much worse than what? You're dead! So what! There are much worse things than me being dead, such as there being no life at all. What deplores me so much about t...

Re: A Possible Explanation to the Phenomenon of "Telepathy"

Its case closed for physical evidence of telepathy, but since when was philosophy determined by the bounds of physical science?

Especially trapped in a room with someone trying to prove the veracity of telepathy
I myself have not once attempted to prove its veracity here.
