Re: journeying down the rabbit hole

Since it has been a while, though a re-introduction would probably be nice. Just another wanderer who made her way back to see what might come of it.

peace,

Re: Poetry Bin

Thanks for the feedback. In truth, the poem itself does end on the line as you recommended. That last is just my own added bump. It is a way for one to see,the second section especially, as inspiration or hope.

best wishes

Re: Poetry Bin

When they accept, I question When they fit in, I rebel When they go along, I walk away When they watch tv, I read When they know it’s ‘right’, I know it could be ‘wrong’ What to them is simple, I find complex What they find complex, I find simple What they take for granted, I feel great value What t...

Re: Einstein's Relativity

I have just started reading this book. So if anyone is still out there and up for discussions, I'll certianly join in. I am approaching this from the aspect of attempting comprehesion of his perspective vs. application as inconsistencies can make it difficult to do so.

Re: Book on Quantum Theory

Thank you for the replies. Greatly appreciated. Agreed, double-slit experiment a wonderful place to start. The implications thereof and the different paths that varied resources on both QT & QM lead are fascinating to me.

Back to floating in the abyss of my perceived reality. :)

Cheers,

Book on Quantum Theory

Wondering if anyone has some recommendations for a book on Quantum Theory that is relatively user friendly. I am by no means a physics buff, but am interested in the topic. Thanks!

Re: Hey!

Have you ever tried to systematise your beliefs? It really is a nightmare. You think you know how each part fits with every other, then you put them together and you have annoying situations like A>B B>C C>A Anyone who thinks their beliefs are wholly consistent either hasn't bothered to check, is v...

Re: Poetry Bin

Yesterday I wrote a new poem, it was written for a person who just happened to be here during this horrible week, but it applies equally to you good people :) When four walls come closing in And beasts of men cause a din Lonely seems the road traversed As all fortunes seem reversed From men leap de...

Re: Poetry Bin

Less 'hot' perhaps, but no less pressing and disturbing. I still felt trapped and that the landscape of my world had changed such that there was nowhere truly comfortable. I nearly became homeless. I wasn't too bothered for having explained my situation that number of times, the first and the last ...

Re: journeying down the rabbit hole

The signature is just a play on Descartes words; the idea of existence and who is doing the thinking. I.e. if I can think then obviously I exist. For me the emphasis is not on the idea of I am therefore I must think, more so saying I am therefore I am the one doing the thinking as opposed to I'm thi...

journeying down the rabbit hole

Hello All... After 5 days of lurking I guess it is time for at least some sort of introduction. Best I can say is I'm here to learn. Over the last two years I have been "unplugged" so to speak. I fought with it and finally decided that it is time to take the 'red pill' and be done with it. So here I...
