Re: Complexity, deception and Occam

The only problem is that, all the greatest Philosophers in history were classed as such after their deaths. None of them claimed that they were the greatest philosophers themselves in their life time.

Re: Complexity, deception and Occam

Many great philosophers used to be criticised in his era for speaking nonsense because they were not understood or misunderstood by the public.

Re: 0 is not a number

0 is not a number. 0 is just a state of nothing. Proof: Numbers can have - (negative) signs. 0 cannot be negative or positive. It follows that 0 is not a number. Because 0 is not a number, no number can be divided, multiplied subtracted or added with 0. Okay. But was there any point to pointing thi...

Where does it say something about "Hilbert Space"? Can you quote it? Thanks.

The 0s in 10 and 100 are not standalone 0s, but parts of the number 10 and 100.

0 is not a number. 0 is just a state of nothing. Proof: Numbers can have - (negative) signs. a = -0 5 + a = 5-0 = 5 Oh look it still works! Depending on the parser at hand, the token stream "5+-0" will generate a syntax error. But then again, many won't. It depends on the regular expressi...

Proof: Numbers can have - (negative) signs.
a = -0

5 + a = 5-0 = 5

Oh look it still works!
a= -0
It just proves that 5 + a = 5 - 0 = 5 was a waste of time.

Can Hilbert Space be applied to the physical space? Or is it just for the conceptual space only?

You are confused. Read back or not. But you just have no idea what I said. I gave you the most accurate comments on what you said. You were only stating the points from 3rd party perspective only, which is one sided. You are not a worthy interlocutor I am a speculative philosopher. You are a narrow...

I get too tired at night, and just fall asleep.
Not a true philosopher then, are you?
A true philosopher doesn't sleep at night?
Never heard of that.

Re: Death and meaning of life

By “pondering” I might more accurately have said “obsessing”, as can be the case with committed inquiry into any classical philosophical question. "Obsessing" would be clearly a wrong term. Who would get obsessed with philosophical topics? It is interesting to have discussions about them ...
