Re: Sex and the Religious-Left

Yeah I'm with Gary. Anybody can be an 'excellent gentlemen' if they have the money. Culture and nobility isn't determined by genetics or education - that's a myth - but by wallet size. Any man who makes a hunerd dollars or more an hour is capable of being an excellent gentlemen. Financially able, i...

Re: Should menstruation be banned?

Or male masturbation, for that matter? After all, ova and sperm cells are potential unborn humans. The key word here is “potential”. The unborn human is a potential human, with all the potential rights of personhood. And when these potential rights come into conflict with the actual rights of an ac...

There are some on this Forum who would be well advised to STFU and use your brain to listen for once in your life..

Duplicity of God

Saw this on FB today A rabbi was asked by one of his students “Why did God create atheists?” After a long pause, the rabbi finally responded with a soft but sincere voice. “God created atheists” he said, “to teach us the most important lesson of them all – the lesson of true compassion. You see, whe...

Re: The Political Man

" The Unexamined Life is not worth living. " ~Socrates Yet whether a Life is examined or unexamined, Either way it must still be Lived. I believe 'Examination' of a Life is an individual's Self-Consciousness. Thus an Examined Life is a Self-Conscious Life. Not all men are Self-Conscious; ...

You above is going haywire. Run out of valid points to counter my specific views? In Veritas Aequitas we have a pitch perfect example why "objective morality" is a bankrupt idea. Since the early days of philosophy at least as far back as Plato, notional ideas of objectivity have been appl...

Re: WHo are the terrorists?

You are just ignorant and brainwashed. My principle: whatever are immoral acts by Israel, Palestinians and whoever, they must be addressed and dealt accordingly by the appropriate laws and handled morally. After the IDF removed themselves from the Gaza strip for the Gazans to have autonomous contro...

It is "bad" that they don't know it? And do you mean, "objectively bad," or just "Gary and Harbal feel differently, but those who have no conscience are just fine"? No it just means that you are wrong yet again So Gary and Harbal are "wrong"? No. Just you

Re: Is morality objective or subjective?

I agree. There's a point where a person can feel horrible about something we've done and seek to remedy it or refrain from ever doing it again. And it can't be just wished away or swept under the carpet. At least that is the case in my experience and seems to be in yours as well. You know that, and...
