Re: Social Injustice Warrior

I am a social injustice warrior, I am the true Christ of society. I don't hate all women, but I hate the selfish and psychopathic attitude of many American women. I don't eat meat but today I will eat pork as a sacrifice to atone for the crimes of humanity. The blood of the innocent pig is spilt as...

Re: Rarity and value

I think this goes along with once a celebrity is deceased their works are worth more (generally) because there will be no more produced of them. With some exceptions such as Jimi Hendrix whom still has new releases of "previously unreleased" and "remastered" creations. I believe ...

Why do we compare ourselves to others?

Is it to strive to become better than they are? Or to convince ourselves our lives are not so bad by comparison? I struggle trying not to compare myself to others, I at least stay off of facebook and other social media websites where lives and photoshopped photos are posting to say "look at me!...

Re: #Mentoo

Have you ever felt judged by a woman, just because you gazed a second too long? Let #Me n too unfold...! In some areas there are legal ramifications being drawn up because staring too long (especially at a co-worker) can be considered sexual harassment. I do have doubts that it will be enforced muc...

Re: What is poetry?

Do we need a definition ? What are the necessary and sufficient conditions? How do we recognise when someone is being poetic? What are the characteristics, or properties? What is the objective of producing poetry? Is it simply an emotional expression; a form of therapy. From the reader's point of v...

Re: What does silence mean?

silence is golden. a period for self reflection and thus wisdom. and sadly the enemy of modern culture, where empty noise rules. noise for its own sake ;-/. Well said. I want to add with this a thought when out in nature, or with someone in a moment of silence and without the pressure of speaking j...

Re: Hypocrisy against women

I've never understood the mentality of calling women "whores" as if that's some terrible insult. What is wrong with a woman having a lot of sex... even if she does it for money? So what? It's business. If a man did it, would HE be a whore... and would that be bad? Or would HE be a good bu...

Re: Poetry here.

While I memorize a few of my poems, many are not suitable for the public Hahaha I have a dark humour and it is greatly revealed in my poetry. But, sometimes, there is love, or something like it. I have no idea what love is because I have never been in it. Not romantic love anyways. I do have male fr...

[/quote]Hi nameless, It may be the case that the instant something is experienced it can't be altered, however one monent after that, it can be. Due to our mind being severely limited in its ability to hold anything in short term memory for longer than a second or two, we suffer from a tendency to r...

Hello Everyone (and an avatar question)

Hello, my name is Jenn. I am trying to post an avatar and I have it cut to the dimensions of 61 pixels and 75 pixels, the maximum states 80 pixels for width and for height. Now I am wondering if that is 80 pixels combined total? Because the 61 and 75 is not able to be submitted. On the edit avatar p...

Re: Are you superstitious about your birthday?

I am somewhat superstitious about my birthday. I have noticed bad things happen before my birthday even though they could be completely coincidental and sometimes even expected. 5 years ago, I slipped on ice a day before my birthday and that broke my knee on the way down as the kneecap snapped-bendi...

Re: Is there such a thing as rape in a marriage?

I very much believe that rape can exist within a marriage. But I also very much believe that both partners went into their marriage contract with the expectation that sexual needs would be met to (at least) a satisfactory degree. There could be so many physical and emotional reasons for either partn...

Is proper spelling important?

My greatest friend spells words phonetically. I realized if I had discarded him as easily as I have others online who can't spell properly I would have missed out on my best friend. I used to see other's spelling mistakes as their lack of intelligence just as I see 'text speak' as laziness/stupidity...

Re: Why do people watch porn?

Porn is an escape from the mundane for many people. I am a woman that watches on occasion, not very lady-like to some, but many women seem to enjoy reading long, seductive embraces in novel form. Watching or reading such encounters doesn't necessarily mean there is a desire to carry the actions out....
