Re: Missing Thread
Lacewing, the immature mind always wants to preach and has a need to win, even if that means it needs to lie to do so. Please contact me relative to the family tragedy we both endured through a private message or an email through this site. I removed the link to my website. I will remove my ability ...

Re: Hi from the Pacific Northwest in the US
mickthinks, Thank you for your candid opinion. I was beginning to think ego is king here and debating about whether to put up with such immaturity or not. One site I was on I kept getting rude crude sexual remarks from guys who wanted the obvious. I finally decided that was ridiculous and dumped the...

Re: Where Are You?
I'm reevaluating everything as I write my current novel. I do that with each book I write. It helps me learn, grow and discard outdated beliefs.

Re: The Truth
In difficult situations, compassion gives us the power to find a path that meets the vital interests of all concerned when possible and to minimize the pain when that is not possible. Compassion cuts through beliefs and goes straight to the heart.
—Ken McLeod
Without compassion we have nothing.

Re: The Truth
Walker, are you saying you downloaded my book? The murders are the truth. As for what's in the book it was as best I could do as I wrote it. Until you reach the end of it,you will have no idea what my conclusions are. I wrote about what it was like for me as a worked my way through a nightmare. If y...

Re: The Truth
Thank you, walker, for your understanding of my situation Lacewing was just saying that when your are smacked in the face with an event, like murder, that is truth. It's not philosophical, it's empirical. She and I have both faced it and were forever changed.

Re: The Truth
Lacewing, I am touched that your shared your experience about the murder-suicide here. It's a life-changing event which leads to a series of events where one can recognize, within those experiences, what if real and what is speculation. I'd actually like to explore your thoughts of this subject. Mee...

Re: The Truth
Lacewing, thank you for understanding. Yes, some experiences are right there, something one cannot avoid. That's what it was that awful night. There are so many reasons that we speculated about as to why it happened. My brother surrendered to the police, with no hassles. What unfolded was a nightmar...

Re: The Truth
On March 4th, 1980 my brother took his deer hunting rifle, a semi-automatic Browning, across the road stood on the neighbors front porch and tried to get into their house. The door was locked. He shot the doorknob. He still couldn't get in. He broke out the window with the butt of his gun, climbed t...

Hi from the Pacific Northwest in the US
It is my belief that most of us seek out a forum to find others of like mind. Such is the case for me. I remember when I was eight and asked my nine-year-old cousin had she ever thought about where she lived in her body. She looked at me like I was nuts and ignored the question. I had an inkling the...
