Luxin a la Lao Tzu Chapter 5

Like the all inclusive Tao, Love is directly apprehended as a presence. Love's opposite, hatred, the real but unreal fear of oneness, Is apprehended as an absence of Love, That is, the love of inner beauty and higher oneness. A student of the Tao asks, "What are Love and love?" The aged fool replies...

Luxin a la Lao Tzu Chapter 4

Out of the depth of the Tao Comes everything one needs -- The many Natural gifts of the Tao. The disinterested fool of Tao, Not seeking, receives all things; Not worrying, is peaceful. As all creatures are provided for, So are the fools of Tao, of Heaven.[3] The greedy gods, in taking and taking, Lo...

Luxin a la Lao Tzu Chapter 3

Prologue. Mr. Lao Tzu did not speak in the Tao Te Ching of the Love (Spiritual) and love (erotic) of a member of the opposite sex; his only mention of the Love of a living being is regarding the vital Love of oneself (specifically, one's Self or True Self): "Love the world as your own self; Then you...

Luxin a la Lao Tzu Chapter 2

The proud man is insecure, aggressive and dramatic. The man of Tao, gentle and kind, loves the Virtue of Good Humor; He sees the comedy in tragedy; He sees beauty where many do not; He dares not insult a fly. Insults return in some aspect of God/Nature. The proud man scorns the fly, Never thinking i...

Tao Te Ching Ch. 52 extract, "Keep your mouth shut"

"Keep your mouth shut, Guard the senses, And Life is ever full. Open your mouth, Always be busy, And Life is beyond hope."[1] ===================================== The lightweight, insecure and dramatic, puts on a fine show; the heavyweight, gentle and equanimous, enjoys the comedy and sees the deat...

Luxin a la Lao Tzu Chapter 1 + coded piece

"What is the way of happiness, master?" "First of all, I am not your master. Secondly, you are not speaking to me, As I am not really in front of you; You are dreaming this. Nevertheless I will answer. Also, I do not really belong Here in front of you, And speaking comes at a cost. Nevertheless I wi...

Thank you. I thought of saying something, but as Thumper said, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say nuthin' at all."

Re: Against travelling

Travelling is a hardship that I refuse to endure. From the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu: Without going outside, you may know the whole world. Without looking through the window, you may see the ways of heaven. The farther you go, the less you know. Thus the sage knows without travelling; He sees without...

Re: Do you care about style ?

I prefer reading the King James version of the Bible with thees, thous and thines. Elegance. For a simple translation I use the modern versions, but not too often. No doubt I was a 17th century person.

Re: Cow sets a bad example for progressive society

This simply cannot be tolerated. This cow is setting a bad example for all who have been educated to follow the dictates of the Great Beast at all costs regardless of consequences. That's one heroic moo ... a moo of destiny! The Colonel (of Monty Python) said "Stop that cow. That's just silly." It'...

Re: The Feckless C*nt Question

Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a feckless c*nt on TV and the people applauded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRlMjotV6qg Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who defeated Joe Crowley in a Democrat primary was called by some a feckless c*nt. I must admit that I’m confused as to what a feckless c*nt actually ...
