Re: Your smart phones are watching you.
Here's a link to Snowden explaining how smartphones are spying on you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFns39RXPrU It's quite funny how you all pretty much miss DAM's point. No your phone isn't surveilling you. She's basically saying there is no separation and no subject/object distinction. One mus...

Re: Nonduality is not a Religion
Nonduality itself is also a duality, i.e. 'Nonduality' versus 'duality.' The concept of duality is generally discussed within Mind–body dualism. Mind–body dualism, or mind–body duality, is a view in the philosophy of mind that mental phenomena are non-physical,[1] or that the mind and body are dist...

Re: proposition (1)
Consciousness /mind is a PROPERTY of the brain is a conceptual known knowledge known absolutely. All knowledge is a fiction known by no thing...aka the absolute. A thing is known but the known thing knows nothing. All claims to know is a fiction within absolute knowing the only knowing there is. No...

Re: Closing Imagined Explanatory Gaps
It seems that if there was only this One Consciousness then you would have access to things outside of you. You should have access to everything. Outside of you comes from Inside of you. Inside of you comes from Outside of you. You is a two way mirror reflecting yourself everywhere and nowhere as e...

Re: proposition (1)
All our deeds, emotions, thoughts, creeds – and whatever else we are trying to relate ourselves with – are expression of Consciousness which exercises its possibilities in order to realise itself. I don't think consciousness has a goal or a plan - as I see it, it's not doing anything, but it simply...

Re: Closing Imagined Explanatory Gaps
" Reality – that which we connote in our Western patriarchal culture when we speak of reality – is an explanatory assumption, an imagined domain of independent entities that we use in order to give universal validity to our explanations of our experiences." H. Maturana Essentially, all ex...

Re: Perception
There is no direct answer to why there is consciousness except to say probably Why not ? All phenomena exist within Nature so there is a direct answer / rational explanation for them even if it is not known Minds cannot know everything of course but the very fact something actually exists means it ...

And that's all there is to understand about SELF. . aka ''I AM'' Everything else is just a belief...aka a fictional imagined story...aka knowledge. Why do you NOT think the concept of SELF and I AM are beliefs? Are those not the biggest beliefs of all? Consciousness and awareness...and how we defin...

Re: Do you consider consciousness -
Consciousness is the empty container, I.e., Nothing....that is infinite and eternal that contains everything. It is not an epiphenomenon of brains. Brains and neuroscience occur within Consciousness.

Re: Locked Mind Thought Experiment
There is no knowledge of the thinker of thought because the thinker is a thought too I can just about understand this as a concept [ it is very counter intuitive ] but I do not think it is how reality actually is Everything cannot merely be an illusion arising out of nothing because then it would l...
