Re: EVIL!!!!!!!!

But Nietzsche would (against his wishes) end up inspiring Hitler. how do you know? do you know - from his writings, his character would not affirm Hitler's view of "reality". I know nothing about Nick - nor care to, i know more about Hitler and have more interest in knowing his mind since recently ...

Re: Ecclesiastes and the Emptiness of Reason

snipped you pontification. did you have a question or point? just wondering. The mythos of religion observes inherent cycles within cycles that permeate all of being including the rational and intuitive facets of man's awareness. This relation of cycles, or "relativity", is constant and necessitate...

did you have a question or point? just wondering. thanks for your condensed post - i honestly did not follow your point in the you post. I 1000-percent agree with your below BTW, and could not have said what you said better myself. The point I see is that humans have invented an imaginary god inclu...

I can't fault your reasoning there. ok thanks for affirming my logic. do you have a doubt about evolution (I'm not a dick, if you are creationist, fine my me, but i'm not going to debate evolution - to me it seems self evident. 3 of my 5 b...

Re: Why Suffering is a Good Thing

I like your post, Felasco. You have definitely captured what I was saying, though yours was put differently than mine. Now, it is correct that life is like a ball, where it is thrown (birth), it flies up (life), but it falls (old age), and then it hits the ground (death). It is true that life is li...

Something that's desirable and something that's good for us can be two different things, as with the case of suffering.

Re: Why Suffering is a Good Thing

Here's why suffering is actually a good thing that could happen to a person. The reason(s) why suffering is actually good for a person is because it is part of a process of thinking and the start of a long spiritual path to Enlightenment and Liberation from the Material world. I believe that judgin...

But since it has no moral and rational grounds for its pronouncements, don't put words in my mouth. i affirm the UN as a moral and reason body. so it serves those purposes. and no real power, good! no fan of world empire/army. what can it do? serves as a role model in the concept of an overall rule...

Without rational justification Morality is based upon feelings, and is an instinct. reason is irrelevant. Then morality also is nothing more than a feeling. An "instinct...
