Re: Enthusiasm
Always arguing against an elite by default legimizes the elite as the acknowledge of an enemy forms an enemy. If the "common" folks are better or know more than the elite, does that make them the elite and the elite the common folks? Legimizes? What does your fist line mean, "legimize...

Re: The Ideal Ideology
I`m not yet persuaded that most men want a family in order to somehow consciously prove themselves, they may of course well have to prove themselves in order to get there however, and this is a given. The ideal ideology must embrace the following, forgiveness, the creating of time for those people t...

Re: How can a woman ruin a man ?
Is this philosophy though, is it sentiment which is total/all embracing. To begin with, I`m not even persuaded that we all agree exactly the same definition for this term "ruin", and we do require absolute definitions in philosophy. My definition: To ruin a person is to cause them, he or s...

Re: Is philosophy always a search for the truth?
I would tend to think of geography as being geography, not philosophy, and history as being history, etc. For me philosophy only exists in its process, so the process of greater insight, the process of greater wisdom. For me that spoken in the name of philosophy long past stands out no more than in ...

Re: Enthusiasm
In philosophy it tends to be assumed that the only credible answers lie in a place seldom ever accessible by ordinary folk. This is its failing, for such a mentality creates a so called elite, a club, an institution if you will, where members are of single mind first and individuals only in after th...

Re: How can a woman ruin a man ?
I do n`t associate class with money, for any nature of person can have money, I only associate class with values, character being one such value. Many people are so called working class only because they are honest hard workers that fall into that group which prefer healthy physical work over growin...

Re: Is philosophy always a search for the truth?
The sun going around the earth does n`t fall into the territory of being a truth or non truth though, it`s an observation. Truth is neither in the territory of facts, for what is or is not truth for any individual is a personal individual matter, and no amount of theorizing is going to recreate trut...

Re: Can facts be separated from values? Anyone know logic statements?
“Facts are always impregnated with values, and there is no real distinction between morally and politically neutral means (such as management has traditionally been conceived to be) and value-laden ends (such as profitability or humanisation)”. Real facts are never impregnated with values. Propagan...

Re: Is philosophy always a search for the truth?
No, truth is only perceptual, philosophy is far more often in search for that which is/ that which actually is, or at least any suggestion to it.

Re: Are you immortal?
Immortal as it relates to us mortals is of course a relative term, but those big guys, even be it with muscle, which is of course much healthier, do tend to shorter life spans than the average. unfortunately. All that hard work deserves more, however, one can train even harder than these whilst stil...

Re: Can facts be separated from values? Anyone know logic statements?
Sure, for only those facts which the knowing of can either directly or indirectly affect our well being, or that of any and all other life forms, have any actual intrinsic value in current time, or value which can be measured. Strictly speaking a measure is a reading taken in current time. Over perp...

"Nature", so you are talking about a journey back in our social evolution, to living more naturally, to becoming better animals again? Money buying relationships? So you are advocating what then, to the least well educated doing the most reproducing. Actually, is that not already the case?...

Re: The Ideal Ideology
What you envisage is a whole new world, but in might take hundreds of years, if ever, before people would fundamentally change that much. Initially much of most people`s time might be taken up in planning how to reinvent the familiar system, and meanwhile the country would be on its knees, we`d be b...

Re: Enthusiasm
Enthusiasm requires a positive cause and effect history in order to exist at a healthy level in the present. This healthy level being neither too much nor too little of the commodity. Sufficient life experience eventually catches up with over enthusiasm.
