Re: Manslaughter
[quote="Michael McMahon" post_id=628070 time=1678110653 user_id=23769] Fairness and legal precedents are of utmost importance. Sentencing must be consistent for people convicted for similar crimes in order to be as democratic as possible. There’s too much deviation. Manslaughter unnecessar...

Anyone owning two residences while someone anyone else needs a place to live is a crime against humanity. Letting a complete stranger determine whether you have the right to have a place to live based on their own criteria for their own interests is a crime against humanity. Everything wrong with us...

Re: Intersubjective
[quote=Dontaskme post_id=674651 time=1697915244 user_id=12017] Intersubjectivity means: Existing between conscious minds; shared by more than one conscious mind. Can something be subjectively objective? Yes, all objective facts are subjective, and one strategy to allow for this is to use the word 'i...

Re: AI is not I
Also, it's not intelligent to limit your learning chatbots to people who are willing to create an account. If its learning it needs access to the broadest set of people, not a minute subset.

AI is not I
I've tried a number of AI chatbots and none are anything more than rhetoric. They're great at presenting an apparently meaningful response and can do nothing related to original thought, adaptation, or continuity. In short, they lack even the basic prerequisites for being considered intelligent.

ILP format doesn't have room for serious philosophy, as i've argued with Cezary many times. He's all in on his platform and ignores that similar things have been done over and over and have gone nowhere.
