Re: Upcoming US Election

I mean, ideally, if I object to it my hope is that the one who's trying to steal it would try to be a decent human being and not take something that they had no right to take if I objected to it. Otherwise, I'm too old and weak to win in a fight for it. I mean, if my choice is either fight for my h...

Re: Upcoming US Election

Well, whatever the case, it'd be nice if someone gets elected who can steer us all clear of WW3. We should never have given the Ukrainians weaponry. Re: Upcoming US Election

don't worry, there are already 50,000,000 mail in ballots for comrade Biden just waiting to be counted This is a MAGA fantasy. They dream of stuffing the ballots with Trump votes, and so they believe the Dems are similarly corrupt and they point their stubby fingers in self-incriminating accusation...

Re: Can Machines Be Conscious?

Re: On competition and co-operation

So, what are your views on the differences and different uses of competition and co-operation in human affairs? Competition favors the competent. Cooperation enhances the mediocre. K: and yet, this is not true... think about it.. human society was/is built by cooperation than not by competition.. t...

Re: On competition and co-operation

It is conceivably capable of far more than that. Even in wartime, it is common for warriors who want to kill each other to work together as well. Warriors on each side of a conflict want to work together to kill competing warriors on the other side. This is an example of both competition and cooper...
