Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

That won't work. If it's "situational," then you're in no position to tell anybody about their "position," or what their moral "position" on it should be. Why would anyone want to be in a position to tell anyone what their moral position should be??? Because they don't...

That won't work. If it's "situational," then you're in no position to tell anybody about their "position," or what their moral "position" on it should be. Unless I am obliged to tell others what to believe or think, it works just fine. If you live by yourself, in a cav...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

That's because if that's just a subjective list, then it's inconsequential. However, if it's objectively true that voting for Trump is bad, and you can produce evidence that I should believe that makes it morally bad, then you're not a Moral Subjectivist at all...you're just a selective Objectivist...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

Your entire question in reply to my post was included above. My response is also included above. What other "response" did you have in mind? Look back to my earlier post where I provided a list of reasons why I think Trump is amoral and/or narcissistic. I cannot find a comment fro...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

I'm not agreeing to any statements others try to script for me. I can make my own claims, thanks. But you have alleged that the danger is an "amoral narcissist," in context, alleging that of Trump. But given the proliferation of such in Washington, what's your particular justification for...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

Not especially bad, but especially qualified in that respect. You’ll agree that his supporters believe he is especially good, not bad. I'm not agreeing to any statements others try to script for me. I can make my own claims, thanks. But you have alleged that the danger is an "amoral narcissist...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

There are nothing but amoral narcissists in the uni-party in Washington these days, and they're all little Hitlers in their own way. What gives you reason to think that Trump would be especially bad in that respect? Not especially bad, but especially qualified in that respect. You’ll agree that his...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

I actually have no horse in the race. But I don't think Biden is anywhere close to mentally competent (which is why Sculpy is so dead against "whataboutery" at this particular moment, because she knows it, too), and I don't think Trump is the next Hitler. What's more, I actually think we ...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

I have to say, guys, I'm amused by the nervousness. And I find it quite funny that Dem supporters actually think people should be all anxious and in knots about a possible second Trump term. If Trump does essentially what he did the last time in office, I'd say you have nothing to worry about. Rath...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

By all reports Trump is anything but a calm and cool individual. For that reason I feel it would be unsafe for him to have access to nuclear weapons. I have skimmed parts of Project 2025 and just from what I’ve read, I doubt there is anything contained in the plan that Trump would be averse to execu...

Re: TRUMP AHEAD?

Take a moment and watch this video. If you are pro-Trump, anti-Trump or just dont give a shit Trump. Please explain to me how Trump is the nominated candidate for the Republican Party. For me moment leave the whataboutery concerning Biden out of the equation for the moment. Go through the pain of l...

Re: How do we make peace?

The peace is the consequence, and the cause is the truth. They fight for their understanding of the truth, although this understanding may be perverted. The achievement of peace cannot be sustainable until there is a consensus on the truth. For their understanding of the truth they are ready to sac...

Re: How do we make peace?

Understand what the truth is and find consensus in the truth. But what if there’s no consensus to be found among bellicose nations, in spite of valid arguments on the value of peace for those nations? ** The peace is the consequence, and the cause is the truth. They fight for their understanding of...

Re: How do we make peace?

The world is in a difficult place right now. What can each of us do to keep it from teetering off its axis? Thoughts? Suggestions? Understand what the truth is and find consensus in the truth. But what if there’s no consensus to be found among bellicose nations, in spite of valid arguments on the v...
