Re: On Non-Existent Objects

Raymond Tallis explores non-being and time. https://philosophynow.org/issues/126/On_Non-Existent_Objects He could cover his "thesis" in a paragraph or two. But nooooooo. He wastes my free read with trying to sell a simple idea that anyone can understand if he weren't so wordy. He has pissed me off.

The duty of the brain is to provide inputs to the mind. We experience everything. Experience, however, is codded differently for each mind.

Re: Why Christianity May Be the Most Logical Religion.

All religions are based on the logic of the prophets and priests. Put your mind to those that you know nothing about and tell why they haven't any meaning whatsoever. The posts on this thread at tines has no respect for competing ideas. The posters are brainless. In Roman times the EGYPTIAN goddess ...

Re: Does Consciousness Cause Quantum Collapse?

If there is no God and you are welcome to that thought, then He won't put humpty-dumpty back together again. Maybe we won't either but it's worth a try. (and I mean all the broken and violent intents.)

Re: Ethical Relationships

I support the simplification of explanations but can't the effort to simplify go too far? Consider that ethics could be one idea but also the change in society has relations to rights, morals, control, contracts, risk management, safety, protection, promotion of interests, subjugation, politics, etc...
