Re: Coronavirus Craziness

Do you wanna be in my gang, my gang, my gang, do you wanna be in my gang OH YEAH..la, la, la, lah la!   As much as I can appreciate your carefree and playful spirit, there's only so much I can take of anyone's madness on this forum. Perhaps we all "let loose" a little/lot more her...

Re: Coronavirus Craziness

You've really lost the plot. You used to be fairly normal. Now you are relating to DAM? Was it drugs or alcohol? :| I can relate to a lot of people, even you Spider Woman. Some people, for longer periods of time than others. People are often spinning off in one direction or another. When there are ...

Re: God and COVID-19

Hi sister Lacewing,  I hope you are fine. It was a great pleasure for me to have had the opportunity to exchange with you on the forums. I found you to be an intelligent and caring person but I am saddened that we could not reach an agreement on such an important subject. I really wish you would jo...

Alas, I agree with you. :D Happy days. Birds sing for no reason at all, and so do we, because it's what we do.

Oh look there's a butterfly!

Re: Coronavirus Craziness

We've all got a story to tell and share. My belief is that it's all just our own story, but sometimes what is one persons story is not what another persons story is, so there is bound to be conflict, but all we are doing is discussing how our stories differ that's all. Agreed. :D I know I'm a bit h...

Re: Coronavirus Craziness

Alarm bells start ringing really loud in my ears when I'm not hearing the truth... Well, I can certainly understand this. I've always had a kind of radar with people, sensing their energy (so-to-speak) more than what they present on the surface. That hasn't stopped me from dancing with weird or dar...

Re: Coronavirus Craziness

Your responses are wasted on me, they are just meaningless words heard as blah blah blah. ... They're not really for you as you are clearly an idiot. They are for others who may read what you say. Yeh, I get quite a kick out of A_uk's insights. If I could just grasp what ever it is you are trying t...

Re: God and COVID-19

That is, indeed, a "whirl of contradictions." If there's no God, how can you be angry at him for creating the world you insist He did not create? How can you be mad at a God you insist does not exist for not being good? Why are you angry, when you insist nobody is there... Why has anyone who ever b...

Re: God and COVID-19

Thank you for your input sister Lacewing! Hi Averroes. The only thing in your response that rings true to me is the phrase "sister Lacewing". That is true. :D The rest is something you have chosen to believe, and part of your belief is that it applies to me. For me, it does not. So I guess there's ...

You don't go far at all.
At least I'm open to the OP question.
And nothing else. Whoopee!

Re: Theodicy-problem: Why does God allow evil?

I can. I'm just focusing on speaking with Gary right now. He, at least, thinks there's a question that can be asked. You don't go so far. I have plenty of questions I think can be asked. You refuse to answer questions in response to what you say, yet you somehow think you can keep asking othe...

Re: Theodicy-problem: Why does God allow evil?

We don't have to think the same to ask each other questions. No, if we had two sides of an issue, it would be possible. But the question presumes at least the possibility of the existence of God...a thing about which you already profess that you have no opinion, because the requisite premise is not...

Would a good God allow good inventiveness, but intervene to prevent bad inventiveness, like creating of nuclear weapons?
If a good God were allowing all of it, what is the good God actually doing...after supposedly creating everything in the first place?

Re: Theodicy-problem: Why does God allow evil?

You already know that I don't believe in gods... which is why I'm not surprised that there's not a god doing anything. Right. So unlike Gary, you have no complaint against God, and are not interested in the Theodicy Problem, therefore. For you, it's not a relevant topic. Now you see why I'm not dis...
