Re: "Free will was given to man by god."

Seems like free will was given to GOD by MAN. Man being the creator of the gods, and imagining THEM to be the creators of MAN. Talk about shifting responsibility! :D

I did read dozens of your posts but I was disappointed. You rarely led or taught. Maybe you should try one of these?
Your inability to see insight has nothing to do with me. I am not here to lead or teach you. There is, however, wisdom to be found everywhere if you know how to perceive it.

Re: Do you think life is more than a play of creativity?

live as nature intends.... rip the throats out of your prey This is what you think. And who are you to know what nature "intends"? Surely nature is larger than a single perceived intention. just keep "cooperating" -Imp It's simply one way of doing it. You can also fight... or be disinterested... or...

Re: Do you think life is more than a play of creativity?

Isn't life neat? I think so. So vibrant and creative. I smiled at a very young child riding in a grocery cart yesterday... her face was beaming, and her gaze so direct, like some sort of cosmic traveler landing on Earth... ready for the ride! Yes, seeing little pictures and big pictures... watching...

Do you think life is more than a play of creativity?

By that I mean... is human life significant beyond the human experience of it? Does human life have eternal repercussions? Is human life “serious”? Or is human life just another creation of physical nature expressing potential and its many fluctuations, to be experienced and honored/treasured (or no...

Re: Hypocrisy against women

it seems ignorant and absurd when a man calls any woman a whore, as an insult. It seems like a very primitive mentality It seems like this insult bothers you quite a bit. At least in terms of that, it seems pretty effective, so maybe someone who's looking to insult you shouldn't stop using the word...

Re: Hypocrisy against women

since ancient times, prostitutes have been consistently damned as extremely wicked and the lowest of the low. For thousands of years they have been characterised as unclean/diseased, obscene, depraved, vulgar, devious, duplicitous, cunning and mendacious, etc; And today, in 2019 nothing has really ...

Re: Hypocrisy against women

I've never understood the mentality of calling women "whores" as if that's some terrible insult. Well, you're not trying very hard if you don't at least understand where the mentality comes from Yes, I get that. My post was trying to make the collective point that: a) women are held to different (a...

Re: Why humans can't get rid of their egos ?

now that you ADMIT that there could be ONE SINGLE PATH to get somewhere, then we can finally start MOVE FORWARD, (along that path?). Why? There is NO WHY to what could be done. WHAT there is, however, is NOW a possibility. Do you think there is something we are supposed to do with this POSSIBILITY?...

Re: Why humans can't get rid of their egos ?

I'm acknowledging that anything is possible -- but a single path just doesn't seem likely to me. I have KNOWN this for quite some time now. But what does not SEEM likely to you could in FACT be thee Truth. What is it, exactly, that you have KNOWN for quite some time now? Thee Truth, to me, IS there...

Thank you for the suggestion. It seems I've been blessed with an extensive and creative vocabulary of applicable insights and insults... and it's good to use and enjoy one's gifts, which I do. 8)
