Re: Christian Civilization -- The Central Issue

The standard rhetorical weapon “You are a Nazi!” has had its force drained out of it, I think. It has been useful for a long long time but I have a feeling its usefulness has been used up. Overplayed. Absolutely! We now need something worse to call each other to have a valid philosophic debate.

Re: the death of OJ...

it was reported on the news today that OJ Simpson died... and it give us pause to wonder about his legacy and ours... Why should this be important and worth pausing for? K: the OJ case brought us to a new understanding of what is justice, that continues to this day... that wealthy, famous people ca...

Re: Sex and the Religious-Left

There is a lot of truth in this statement but its opposite must also be considered because it exists in volumes. Why would so many souls who, no doubt, consider themselves noble with the best of intentions, congregate around a thoroughly classless piece of human crud like Trump who manifests his de...

That's a timeless truth that applies to everyone.

Prove it.

Re: the quest for timeless truths....

Since I'm not timeless and the universe isn't timeless, the only timeless truth which remains is there is no such thing as a timeless truth. The most timeless truths are generally those which in their default state negate themselves, only seeming timeless in their longevity. "All I know for su...

Re: Sex and the Religious-Left

Nobility transcends Class. There are Noble souls who are poor, who are middle class, who are rich. Money makes little difference, if any. In fact, more wealth might make it harder for the Noble, because it extends his Duties and Responsibilities. A Noble soul is one which people and the masses grav...

Re: Kant: a Transcendental Idealist & Empirical Realist

Gobbledygook. (either that or my brain has got too much mucous from my nose). ..could be the latter, my cognition is shit since I fell off of a wagon. Well now, that is a very realistic response. It means you know yourself more than most people know themselves. Until that desired moment of r...

Re: Kant: a Transcendental Idealist & Empirical Realist

..nonsensical, typical poor English from a spawn of England. 8) Serious question! Is it fair to say that most isms in philosophy amount to nothing more than snotisms ? Can snot eventually transform all these superfluous isms into a type of philosophical emergence, leading to a final understanding i...

Re: Kant: a Transcendental Idealist & Empirical Realist

..ah yes, gobbledygook indeed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u7sa6WFhxg It's this extremely practical philosophy called realism which has transformed the Brits into a superior species which they themselves will attest to! 8) Ah shit. Does that make me a realist? Can a Christian be a realist (eve...

So much overlap of 'ism' renders "philosophy" a pile of wank. Sad that you all spent so much time studying various forms of it (ism) && (ist) So many forms of ism , aren't or, should I say isn't! ...more gobbledygook from yours truly! ..ah yes, gobbledygook indeed. https...
