Re: I give up on all things in life

So what it all comes down to now is the afterlife. The eternal blissful afterlife is the only life I have to look forward to now since this life I have now is a waste to me. As long as a life consists of much depression, illness, and suffering, I find it to be a wasted meaningless life that also wa...

Re: "freewill"

[my friend, every event must have an effect, but it's not necessary that we know about those effects in order for them to be true. our ignorance (lack of means etc.) is not a valid basis for dismissing logical possibilities/facts/truths. things (events) happen all around us all the time without us ...

Re: Chicken or egg? What came first?

Philosophically speaking, your question about what came first chicken or egg, seed or tree etc is refer to cause and effect. Chicken is the cause and egg is the effect. Likewise, seed and tree or other creation. Now, if there is the cause and effect in every creation where does creation came from. Y...

Re: Is God everywhere or not?

There are two options here for the soul. One is that it continues to move from body to body for eternity. The other is that it at some point stops moving from body to body. If it continues from body to body, what does it get out of it? If it stops moving from body to body, where does it go and what...

Is this is because of worries about things in life? No life is perfect. All of us have our own dealings in life.

What profound meaning are you hawking, Hazlett. I've heard them all before, and none are worth purchasing. Meaning is personal. That's it. No more, and no less.
Precisely, ned is talking about his personal experience.
