Helllo
I'm glad to have joined this forum with others who enjoy this thing called philosophy. Although it requires a certain amount of discussion and argument Ive reached that stage where I'll no longer impress anyone even if I tried and quite often I find even trying not worth the effort. Is it me or us but what is it with people these days? Is it too much to expect others to be reasonable and fair, rational and logical, maybe even ignore their emotions and ego sometimes for the sake of getting to the bottom of something worth discussing. So much time is wasted on a waffle of words without meaning or worth. I look forward to learning something here and maybe even sharing an idea. Thanks. J.

If you are seeking "reasonable and fair, rational and logical," you are in the wrong place.
Humans are on a 24/7 ego trip and don't expect to find that tin pot philosophers.
are any different.

That kind of makes all biographies redundant. You cannot speak from the experience of another.
In any event I was speaking of my experience of interacting with you.
Yes you are right about that. I didn't bother .You can't even take the trouble to spell my name properly.

Reading contributions to PNF inevitably arouses curisoty about the person behind the avatar. I would love to read something about you, little bits of who you are. Do you feel inclined to share something about who you are. In the interim I say to you, Hello, I am pleased to "read" you, (being a limitation of the usual salutation).

Which is a reflection on most of the content of your posts. The Jesus Head wrote:That kind of makes all biographies redundant. You cannot speak from the experience of another.
Not in the slightest. Biographies are the history of an individual.
In any event I was speaking of my experience of interacting with you.
Not how you put it.
