There’s a long tradition of Republicans running for president committing what can best called treason, or at least criminal manipulation of international affairs, to advantage themselves and hurt incumbent Democratic presidents.
Who were the Traitors in 1861, Democrats or Republicans?

Remind the Forum about actual Treason.

Vladimir Putin has already clarified that he would not benefit from Trump coming back. Putin prefers sleepy Joe to stay in office. I think that Putin is probably right. Just let decrepit Joe "Alzheimerson" Biden mismanage the geriatric White House for another term. So, put him back in office already!
Given Biden's recent performances in the State of the Nation address rumours of "alzeimers" are unfounded. Putin funded Trumps win, and knows that Trump has a negative atitude to NATO which would serve the needs of Russia, obviously.

Vladimir Putin is a geopolitical genius. I was counting on Putin to finish off NATO where the Taliban left off. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, I have been waiting for Putin to do us that favor. While I am not impatient or disappointed -- Putin may know things that I do not know -- I still find it a lengthy process.
I agree Putin is the smartest world leader ATM. But he has a declining population and his military is costing the economy a lot. He has alread ywasted two years in Ukraine and it has taken a big toll on resources and his political capital. If NATO stary string then he shall not win.
THat is why he wants Trump.

I will never forget the image of NATO getting unceremoniously deported from Kabul Airport. Seriously, where are the men willing to risk their lives and die for the feminist State? The NATO simps, along with their numerous platoons of blue-haired and tattooed lesbian and transgender boss babes sporting big shiny nose rings, should get a new opportunity to show their mettle in battle!
LOL.
Russia also spend 10 years trying to control Afghanstan. It's atough nut to crack.

1860 was a completely different political landscape with four competing right wing parties
Of the 35 million population, only 4.6 million voted and the 4 million slaves were not even included as people, ket aline allowed to vote.

Repugs are desperate to show the failings of a "democratic party" which bears no resemblance to the Demoracts of the 20th and 21st centuries.

But you might want to look at Reagan handing Iran money to hold onto the hostages until after the election so that Carter would not get credit for all the negotiations which enabled them to be released.
Of you might want to consider that the US government was the worlds largest drug dealer and used the money to destabilise South American countries. Look up "Contra"

Ask Trump why he wants to do that.

Are you referring to the “human” who claims to be innocent yet wants to delay his trials. That’s an odd strategy.

Trump has said he would ditch Ukraine, and stop military aid.

Whether he would or not is anyones guess, since Trump is a complete airhead and has lost the ability to answer a simple question.
But the instablitly that another Trump term would be an massive advantage to Putin
