Tyranny and Post Office
The Post Office debacle, is indicative of how much this country is subject to tyranny. With people effectively coerced into signing false confessions. In doing so creating a climate of guilt, and greater pressure on others being ‘interviewed’. The fallibility of computers or their apps as set up, should be taken for granted. Besides the computers, paper accounting should be provided at the local level, as a backup.
But the important feature is that what may be termed Big Business and capitalism, and what may be called ‘Trumpism’ cannot be trusted. Society as such must be in charge and oversight of all business. Meaning people are not simply ‘free’ and independent of each other and the community.
There must be respect for the law, essentially with the law based on holistic values. Those values, essentially that of moral responsibility for and within the community. Not mere freedom within mass society.
