What is the inner-monologue?

Is the mind the same as the body? What is consciousness? Can machines have it?

If one's IQ is below 50, it may be better not to have one!

The inner-monologue is only "a problem" when one is not aware of this monologue happening.
Everyone requires an inner-monologue - or, lets rather call it: a conceptual thought process - when attempting to solve conceptual problems.
Once the problem has been attended to, this inner-monologue should come to rest - it shouldn't go on and create all sorts of purely fictional agendas or even problems.

It's similar to physical activity: when one needs to run away from some kind of danger, one runs, when there is no need to run, one simply rests.
No one enjoys running all day long, its simply too exhausting - it's the same with the inner-monologue...

The inner monologue is not possible without or, more accurately, made easier/facilitated by shifting one's weight.
