Funny that. No one ever suggests that everyone should have to have the flu jab, to 'protect' the elderly. I wonder why that isMaia wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 10:11 amOne a year, for the elderly. Vaccines normally takes years to develop and test. I wonder how they managed to do it so quickly this time.
From the Mayo Clinic:
Fact: Because there is an urgent need for COVID-19 vaccines and the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) vaccine approval process can take years, the FDA first gave emergency use authorization to COVID-19 vaccines based on less data than is typically required. The data must show that the vaccines are safe and effective before the FDA can give emergency use authorization or approval.
Seems a bit self-contradictory...

If Covid was a gain-of-function research project, then they would have had to develop an antidote to correspond with its research.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 10:50 am Vaccines normally takes years to develop and test. I wonder how they managed to do it so quickly this time.

And yet, there's little point if your own mind is set. What's to discuss?Maia wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 5:48 amDoesn't hurt to discuss it.Immanuel Can wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 12:37 amThen form your opinion about the fourth jab, and make your choice. What's the problem?
However, it seems you have some misgivings about the jab. Why else would you be discussing it? Maybe you want to think about why you do. Sometimes you know something on a visceral level before you figure out exactly what you're intuiting. Maybe you want to listen to that...
But it's up to you, of course.

It's the anti-vaxxers who are arguing that a vaccine has to be 100% effective to be a proper vaccine.

Perhaps because flu is a different disease to covid? Just a thought, anyway.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 10:41 amFunny that.
