Yes. And those threats can come from every quarter and in ANY form - external and internal.


As I think about it, in this age of the digital revolution, is Freedom of Communication our most precious freedom as citizens of modern, industrialized, liberal societies?

That is true. Many individuals feel inhibited by other individuals or groups that may initially appear to be more powerful, more ethically or more intellectually superior.


In high school we used to call it, penis envy.

I assume you are rather young & I would like to assure you, you will grow-out of this feeling of inferiority.

Just being on this forum should help. Give it time.

What limits my communication is the limitations of my imagination.

What limits the freedom of my communication? Societal taboos, the law, peer pressure, and simply that editors refuse to publish my writings.
