Empathy and Social-Political-Ethical Types
Lack of empathy does not make a person a sociopath, and empathy does not mean good judgement.
But it may be found and this is a suggestion for which I have no direct evidence:
Extreme authoritarians will tend to be rule based, and lack empathy.
Extreme anarchistic liberals will tend to be ruled by empathy.
Extreme altruists will tend to rationally rule their empathy.
