Call them jerks then. That won't get you fined. This world is insane.

A town council of a foolish unnamed Canadian town (Milton, Ontario lol!) wanted to ban smoking on the public sidewalks... If that had happened while I was living there, I would have camped on the sidewalk before town hall and chain smoked.

Chain smoking in front of Mr Giuliani´s office.
In spite of his successful zero tolerance policy.

Tom B. does not like the father of his grandson ... if I understand correctly his allusion.

Sue died in the Central Park, in the film by Amos Kolek.

A city like New York must have some huge and unique positive or negative influence on a person´s mind and personality.

You go with your laptop to a small cafe in a small town in the US and don´t talk to anyone and try to post on this forum and certain thoughts and associations come to your head.

If you do the same in a small cafe in New York yours thoughts are different.

They are different again if the cafe is in New Orleans.

The difference in the atmosphere influences your mind.

This phenomenon can be explained by quantum physics and by esoteric theories.

My explanation: it´s the body language of the people around you which makes a difference.

Apparently social engineers are pragmatic in the implementation of their intent. Progressives can get results, though the philosophy shaped by the intent is patronizing, first cousin to arrogant. The method is to keep the culture off-balance by disrupting traditional paradigms within the culture. Thought Cop referenced in the original link is a method to that end.

Good points to keep in mind when observing the evolution of The Trump into an official politician representing citizens, rather than just his brand, since he’s a New Yawker who admits to working in cooperation with the powers that be in the building of his buildings and brand.
