It's you that is looking fucking stupid. You are failing to make a distinction between an economic system and a political one.
Caesar's proscriptions and other misdemeanours such as the sacking of Gaul were all done in the interests of capitalism.
Go back to school.[/quote]
Comrade, Chaz, you need to go back to school. Socialism is tyranny. It is rule by force. It is the stupid idea that a handful of intellectuals can dictate to everyone else how they shall live. That doesn't work, and that is why China and Russia collapsed.
Caesar's conquests had nothing to do with capitalism. Is that the garbage they teach you in school? If so, you need to get a refund for being taught crap. In capitalism, exchanges are voluntary, and both parties to the exchange gain; otherwise, they would not make the exchange. Capitalism is the very opposite of a dog-eat-dog world or a world where someone takes wealth by the use of military force.

ForgedinHell can help you answer this question. He'll know whether Ayn Rand was a douchebag or not. He knows who the douchebags are, or aren't. We should all consult ForgedinHell whenever this type of question comes up. If ForgedinHell says somebody is a douchebag, then we should trust him implicitly, and skip reading the douchebag author.
