You can't blame individuals for the whole of the riots. 90% of the crimes were still petty theft.

The riots are bad and I am not condoning them. But ask yourself about proportionality. Why is it that a boy who stole £3.50 worth of water, has lost all his benefits, and his family has been thrown out of their home?
Why is it that a boy who stole a pair of trainers got 6 months, when a Labour MP, found guilty of £24,000 of public fraud only got 4 months?
Why is it that bankers continue to be rewarded for the wholesale destruction of the economy and the lives of millions?
