A gay can get on someone´s nerves for other reasons apart from being simply gay.

Contentless? You attributed 'homophobia' to someone who used the term 'gay' and explained that he meant you were crap by it. The challenge is to explain why you've made this attribution. In other words, you made a claim and had no argument for it. That's pretty much the definition of contentless.
