Still tho gary we have to wonder about the religious impulse in man and how universal it is among all cultures. We have to aks 'why' does everyone end up, or pass through a phase of, believing in a god. Is this normal? Is this cause for alarm? Is sumthin goin on psychologically or sociologically that's makin em do that stuff? And if so, can we fix it? Should it be fixed, or do we let em have it? That stuff has caused countless deaths and destruction throughout history but it also has some good effects. What if religious belief will be needed more in the future than ever before to keep people sane when science has pretty much explained everything and turned everyone into nihilists. Shit the very opposite might happen; scientific knowledge might expose new mysteries that revitalize all that Tao of physics stuff your homebody was talkin about.

Grand, new discoveries and capabilities in science that solicit extraordinary explanation becuz they're so bizarre. People will be like 'how tf does that happen' and then be like 'if that ain't proof of god, bro... etc.'

We'll see. At any rate the religious impulse may end up being sumthin purposed, extrasensory and on some platonic level shit... or just sumthin that happens to language using people's minds and behavior when they're stressed out.
