The Paradox of Physics
Re: The Paradox of Physics
What is an atom?
Atom = active electron + passive proton
To understand an atom is to understand oneself.

Re: The Paradox of Physics
The way physicists think
One physicist saw a beautiful woman and said:
"It's amazing how beautifully atoms come together"

Re: The Paradox of Physics
How can we live between our own atoms?
Re: The Paradox of Physics
Who and/or what is the 'we', exactly, which 'you' are referring to here?
Also, atoms are not 'our' atoms. It is atoms, themselves, which makes up the 'human body'. And, when and if you ever discover, or learn, and understand who and what 'we' are, exactly, then you will also discover, or learn, and understand who it is, exactly, who lives between and within atoms.
Re: The Paradox of Physics
Isn't it also that you are not really observing "it". It being the atom, electron, etc...?
You are observing evidence of "it".
The closer you look, at the "its", the more it is not there. Like in superposition. <-- And if "it" is in multiple locations, then wouldn't you have to measure all of the locations at once? Or at least know where they are at one time to measure accurately?
If the above is not enough, the closer you look, the physical (tangible) aspect seems to disappear and all you really have is the energy left. And what is energy? Oy! Here we go again.......

This means that it is enough to understand the atom to understand itself.

1. What is meant by those phrases, sentences, or claims pretty well speak for themselves.socrattus wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 8:42 amAs Michio Kaku said:Age wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 8:30 amWho and/or what is the 'we', exactly, which 'you' are referring to here?

2. Human bodies are made up of atoms.
3. The 'person', which is what the word "physicist" is referring to, exactly, may well, to out to be, not made up of atoms at all.
4. However, to people who class or call "themselves", "physicists", some tend believe that absolutely every thing is physical, therefore, the not yet established phrase, ' "physicists" are made of atoms ', is just an unproven claim.
5. Which led to the other yet proven phrase, sentence, and/or claim here.
One could also just as easily and simply say and claim;
'Theists are made of spirits. A theist is an attempt by a spirit to understand itself'.
Now, what you seem to appear to be missing or misunderstanding here is that it has not yet been proven, thus also not yet been established, if you people, like "physicists" and "theists", are actually made up of atoms only, spirits only, nor a combination of both.
