I don't know.
That particular question that you can't answer is best answered by Women*, which is why it's asked.
*(Women made large to catch womenly attention.)
The question:
Is the “biological clock” that women feel just a societal implant?
Or …
Is higher education the societal implant that causes less “push,” for children?

Well it's lucky that many western (ie high consuming) countries are at below replacement breeding percentages (including the US).
The population of the US is predicted to increase ... due to the influx from foreign countries.
The Open-Border maniacs had another recent celebration of an historic occasion.
12,000 illegals crossing the Rio Grande in one day.
All hungry consumers with slave skills suited to the 21st century (sarcasm).

Immigration doesn't impact World population.
Obviously, but immigration into "high consuming" western countries increases World consumption because at least for a little while there is more to consume in Western countries, which is why folks go to them if possible, and that does negate the "lucky," caused by a below replacement birth rate, assuming less consumption by humans is luck and in fact beneficial to the "world."

However, having third world folks in the first world will cause them (and their progeny) to have fewer children generationally.
