Morality: Veil of Perception

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

An anti-philosophical-realist [Kantian or the like] will perceive another person out there as an independent empirical person or self.

This can be verified, justified and confirmed empirically via the human-based science-biology FSK.
Since the science-FSK is the most credible, reliable and objective the individual anti-philosophical-realist [Kantian or the like] will adopt the scientific-biology FSK conclusion in addition to his own personal beliefs.

Because this culminated realization of empirical externalness is grounded on the human-mind-based science biology FSK, it follows deductively, the ultimate realization of empirical external-ness cannot be mind-independent.

The term 'realization' and 'ultimate realization' is critical; this term is very alien to the philosophical realists who are dogmatically clinging to absolute mind-independence.

Right, but those FSKs are not integrating the most real FSK, according to you, which is qm physics. Those FSKs function as realist FSKs.

So, what lets you assume that there is a source for the sense data YOU of other people? That there is an experiencing mind in that person?

There is a difference between what is most real [higher precision] and what is most pragmatic.
What is most real may not be the most pragmatic or optimal under all conditions.

In general, another physical person is realized as an independent reality under the common sense FSK which has low degree of precision of reality and objectivity, but it is the most practical for the majority.

At a higher degree of precision of reality there is the science-biology FSK, the other person is an independent living human with its specific features. Utilities are obtained therefrom based on reality of the biological person.

At present the most realistic realization of a person independent from another is from the science-QM-FSK. In this perspective the independent person is realized in terms of a bundle of quarks and particles with QM qualities. Utilities [where possible] are therefrom extracted from this QM realization grounded on the science-QM-FSK.

Re the 'other-mind' existing within the external independent person.
The theory of mind is a evolutionary program as a potential that is inherent in all humans.
This can be verified and justified within the science-psychology-FSK.
  • In psychology, theory of mind refers to the capacity to understand other people by ascribing mental states to them (that is, surmising what is happening in their mind).

This includes the knowledge that others' beliefs, desires, intentions, emotions, and thoughts may be different from one's own.[1] Possessing a functional theory of mind is considered crucial for success in everyday human social interactions.
People use such a theory when analyzing, judging, and inferring others' behaviors.
The discovery and development of theory of mind primarily came from studies done with animals and infants.[2] Factors including drug and alcohol consumption, language development, cognitive delays, age, and culture can affect a person's capacity to display theory of mind.

He was even kind enough to provide us with a link to a Wiki page, such a helpful guy. First time many of us hear about these "humans", but the link will help.
