Then why did you talk about inventing things you moron. Why you are on a philosophy forum beggars belief.

Most everything is invented here, and anything that's not is taken to a higher level. Wake up and smell the coffee (I mean tea), sweetie!

Wake-up and smell the whiskey, check out the Scots darling.

Although once again you shame yourself upon a philosophy forum as you now contradict yourself with respect to your 'everything is inherited' statement.

Alexander Graham Bell by Richard Thompson
Snippet http://www.allmusic.com/song/alexander-graham-bell-t8646495
Lyrics
Alexander Graham Bell
Note the name and note it well
Father of the modern age
His inventions are all the rage
Of course there was the telephone
He'd be famous for that alone
But there's 50 other things as well
From Alexander Graham Bell

Edison had cylinders
But Bell made records flat
Which we remember gratefully
When we play our floppy or CD
Of course there was the telephone
He'd be famous for that alone
But there's 50 other things as well
From Alexander Graham Bell

Born in Scotland, moved away
To Canada and the USA
Studied speech, took a wife
Helped the deaf all his life
Came up with a threshing machine
Before he made it to a teen
After years of sweat and toil
He invented the hydrofoil

The respirator was his chance
To save his baby's life
And just like the Brothers Wright
He got heavily into flight
Of course there was the telephone
He'd be famous for that alone
But there's 50 other things as well
From Alexander Graham Bell

Graham Bell, Alexander,
It is tantamount to slander
To call him just a scientist
Why his inventions top the list
Edison, he was a thief
And Tesla nuts beyond belief
But Alexander was a gent
So philanthropic, so well meant

Founded Science Magazine
Wrote a book for kids
Because he was a caring fellow
Gave a hand to Helen Keller
Of course there was the telephone
He'd be famous for that alone
But there's 50 other things as well
From Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Bell, Graham
Modern life would sure be mayhem
Without tetrahedral cells
X-rays, faxes, decibels
I think I'd say, and it's no fiction
Without fear of contradiction
He improved our lot a smidgeon
From the age of carrier pigeon

Television was a thing
That he had all prepared
But he left that to his pupil
John Logie Baird
Of course there was the telephone
He'd be famous for that alone
But there's 50 other things as well
From Alexander Graham Bell

He loved Scotland so much, he left the damn place and never returned!

Not so, his final return was in 1920.

A couple of gems from the ever resourceful wiki :)

Scottish Inventors - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_inventors
Quote:
Even before the Industrial Revolution, Scots have been at the forefront of innovation and discovery across a wide range of spheres.

American Inventors - http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?sea ... l%3ASearch

The page "American inventors" does not exist.

I guess he did that to remember why he left in the first place!

What are you, a stand-up comedian? Scotland can't even win at golf, a game they invented by hitting a rock with a stick to overcome boredom!

You and Lynn must be the dumbest fucking people on Earth:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:American_inventors

Pages in category "American inventors"

The following 200 pages are in this category, out of 1,313 total. This list may not reflect recent changes.

P.S. And you can shove that American comic hero Captain Marvel's Shazam lightning bolt up your limey ass!

Bob, I find your comment quite offensive and I think you should apologise for it.

If you have taken the time to run the same search, you would have seen the rest of page content which, although wiki did not find a specific page for American inventors and stated that a request to create one could be made however to consider the 15,163 results were returned containing the text 'american inventors'.

I contemplated leaving the American inventors search result out of my earlier post but thought how funny it was that information could mysteriously disappear, leaving a dead end instead when the parameters were interpreted differently by the same search engine...oh, how we would laugh together  .

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that you're from Glasgow and not the seamy environs of your friend.

No need to shout and in colour as well, often a sign of the mentally unstable.

But  as we can add Comics to Disney and Fux News as the source of your knowledge. Its no wonder you find wiki so amazing in comparison.

 "Captain Marvel's Shazam" - the word was coined in the 40's by stage magicians you loon.
