'Petite' her mother might be but it's not the size of the dog in a fight and she has inherited enough to protect herself as best she can in a world where she is, by and large, the physically weaker sex. What she has learnt from us and from being a Londoner is to be aware and try to spot real trouble before it comes but if it does how to deal with it. My advice to her? If it gets serious run every time, don't shout 'Help!' but 'Fire!' and try to chuck a 'rock' through the nearest house's window, if truly fucked, push your finger to the second-knuckle through their eyeballs, aim for ears, eyes, balls and bite, gouge, rake, tear, not hit.
Perhaps if you had thought of selecting a large strong woman who may be able to pass on traits that made your daughter tough enough physically, she'd have no problem.
By-and-large I don't have a few thousand years to wait for such an outcome.
You won't be able to change things so easily now with respect to your daughter's vulnerable genetics, but perhaps you might encourage her to favor a man who might be as meek and petite (I'm doubtful) so she could pass on the genes that might make her male children less aggressive?
Personally I think this genetics thing much overrated and prefer socialisation. So I'll let her choose who she likes thanks but thanks to the modern world there are much simpler solutions and as such I've brought her a tazer for the more serious moments that may occur.
