That is very gracious of you, Poor Bill, but it is more efficient if I take the opportunity to think about what I write before I post it. You should try it.

Bill Bill Bill Bill Bill...

This is very harsh. We all question ourselves. Yes, to call forth life is to expect death in the package. If you have no problem with death then there is no issue. And why would anyone have a problem with death? It comes with life like shadow comes with light. Its not the end of light.

My response was also real: we are farmed! They have made castles of our bones. We are one evolutionary step in an endless journey. Life is life's meaning.
The glory is in the humility and honour of being a portion and agent of life and being.

Yes you bring life but in doing so you also bring death.

There is no glory in that.

We have no answer to why we are here.

...sounds like no one else had another good idea so they just fucked. I guess, fuck it is your call to arms...

Well crafted response.

Thank you for adding to this thread within a philosophical framework.

If you think so then did you understand it?

If so will it lead you to question your beliefs in any way?

Yes. You know, as an individual whose life sustenance depends upon a living real relationship to philosophy I am constantly questioning myself.

Their response solidified me in my disappointment in my original question in this thread, What Was Your Motivation to Have Children?

Thinking with your dick...*NOT noble or even responsible.

Just selfish.

So I see you standing next to the next generation; your children. And you are saying, I really don't know why the fuck we are here but I brought you out of the magnificent bliss of oblivion, to be constantly hungry in many ways and at the same time utterly dumbfounded.

Thank you. Thank you very much. YOU are awesome.

Thats just you who's dumbfounded and when was the least time you went hungry?

Mine will also laugh, cry, dance, sing, love, mourn, create, work, pay taxes, strive, reproduce or not and engage in all the other endless opportunities that living entails and in the end die(or maybe not for a very long-time given the way things are heading, barring accidents that is).
Thank you. Thank you very much. YOU are awesome.[/size]
Like uwot said, you just ignore anything that others say and I think its because it would mean you would have to examine your beliefs.

Sad. In an ugly way.

Saying the same things lots of times in the face of what people have actually said does not make it truer O' Gnu.

You're not listening again but no surprise from the gnu there.
Just selfish.
You only think this as you are too selfish to share life.
Sad. In an ugly way.
You're looking at your own reflection but then again that is what you love is it not.
Of all the responses, no one has questioned themselves.
False. What they haven't done is agree with you.
Yes you bring life, but in doing so you also bring death.
Thats life for you.
There is no glory in that.
Who said they were doing it for the glory?
We have no answer to why we are here.
An answer is 'why not?'.
...sounds like no one else had another good idea so they just fucked. I guess, fuck it is your call to arms...
Nope, fucking is for fun, fucking for procreation is even funner but has consequences.
So I see you standing next to the next generation; your children. And you are saying, I really don't know why the fuck we are here but I brought you out of the magnificent bliss of oblivion, to be constantly hungry in many ways and at the same time utterly dumbfounded.
As usual your vision is blurred(stop taking the drugs).

You are an idiot as there is no 'bliss' in oblivion, bliss is for the living.

I stand next to my kids and say, questions of 'why are we here' are for them to answer for themselves but the question should be 'What is my purpose in life?'
YOU are awesome. Your love is evident...
Pleased you noticed something at last.
Thank you very much for showing yourself.
No thank you for once again showing that under the gnu's facade lies a nihilistic narcissist wrapped up in a blanket of existential angst, try reading some Philosophy sometime to address your issues as what you are doing at present doesn't appear to be helping you.
