Has Your Life Been Worth It?

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Has Your Life Been Worth It?

Looking back upon yourself - Why?

Why did you exist?

Was your existence worth the time, effort, pain, and unknowing?

Could someone else justify your life
if they did not know you?

What would that justification be based upon?

What if you eliminated everything you consider personal? Your personal trail. Have you created something beyond your short personal interests?

Life just is. No one chose it. We all do what we can with what we have. Then it's gone. And then it fades from others' living memory as they go. Then it's an anecdote, if notes were taken. Then the anecdotes get buried. Then the world becomes devoured by the sun, and there's nothing left, like it never happened.

Anyways, have a sunny day! :D

Because at times its been a real laugh.
Why did you exist?
Still do? But because my parents met in a post-office sorting room.

Unknowing what? On balance the time is effortless, any effort worth the pain and pain fades.

Could someone else justify your life
if they did not know you?
How could they? They don't know me.
What would that justification be based upon?
No fucking idea!

How on earth can you create something if it's not for a personal interest? Your religious hang-ups are showing.

I was kind-of going towards a path in reference to self-consciousness.

That inner philosophical state where some of us travel.

Wasn't thinking of you when I created this thread.

Not sure you're going to find a place here in this one.

Your input was greatly appreciated though.

I want to die at the feet of a rubenesque lady. Or in between... Oh, you know what I'm getting at. Don't make me spell it out...

Anyways, nice way to go.

Yep.

If you consider it, men leave the 'canal', and then most spend the rest of their lives trying to get back in... For me, it's coming full circle. (Phew! Is it hot in here or something? Lol!)

WTF?!?

I start a deeply philosophical tread that cuts right to the heart of our existence & you respond in this way?

Uh... Yeah. Why do you ask? It certainly helps make this shit life somewhat worthwhile. You've got an issue with that, Bill? As well, this thread does not cut to the heart of existence. It's asking a question, not answering any. So give it a a fucking rest.
