in science class the girl who sits in front of me keeps interrupting the teacher with creationist nonsense, despite being repeatedly asked by the teacher and her classmates to save that for church

would it be OK for me to shake up a can of mountain dew and spay her with it?

i already have the mountain dew but have reservations about the ethics of doing so

we have been discussing various ways of dealing with the situation another suggestion is spreading rumors that she blew the captain of the football team and one of his best friends behind the bleachers - i don't think that would help though any action would have to have the form of immediate feedback

Much as I find creationists annoying, I wouldn't support the idea of performing a surgical procedure with a drinks can.

i spent much of the day thinking about this

then after science class i talked to the girl and told her that i thought she was annoying and i was going to spray her with mountain dew but then i asked myself what would jesus do

then i handed the mountain dew to her and walked off

my friends who saw this tell me she stood there looking confused for about a minute and then was like hey its a mountain dew and she opened the can and drank it

I would have hoped that your first reaction to someone asking lost of questions would be to jump in there and talk some sense to her. Sounds like an opportunity for some interesting philosophy.

that has been attempted, repeatedly. and that is why i had such a strong urge to spray her with mountain dew

actually telling her that i was going to spray her with mountain dew but then changed my mind and then handing her the mountain dew seems to have done some good

she is at least attempting to ask questions about the answers to her questions rather than repeating the same shit over and over and she has been less disruptive

i pointed my classmate at some Calvinist writings suggesting that although it may look like evolution took place over millions of years, the elect know, through the guidance of the holy Spirit, that the world is REALLY 6 thousand or so years old

so it would be OK for a calvinist geologist looking for oil to proceed AS IF what he was taught the age of rocks in university were true, as long as he remembered that its only an AS IF and in reality God created the rocks a few thousand years ago

so what biology class teaches is the AS IF that is sole concern

A beavis and butthead laugh? The man is an icon! As this cartoon was one of the first that convinced many over here that the Yank could truly laugh at themselves. This was confirmed with The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy and American Dad, "Goood Morninnng USA! ..."

mountain dew is a soft drink brand

it is a clear soft drink with caffeine in it



i am trying to reduce the amount of stupidity in the world
