First, I see no legitimate reason why I would have to leave my home (for which I paid) just because I don't want to be molested by government. You would accept an option to leave your home as a reason to pay tribute to a Mafia don in whose "territory" your house sits. I don't see any difference (as a matter of principle, of course) between government and the Mafia. In each case it is might that makes right.
You can't vote out a Don. But I look forward too watching you explain why you are not going too pay your tribute to the local 'don' when you've got rid of govt.

Who gets half their income taken? In the UK you currently will get half taken on anything over £150,000 per-annum but at that income you probably employ an accountant and avoid a chunk anyway.
You mean you're not allowed to cut them down? Or you have to pay for an arborist to trim them correctly? If you have to pay for this then I do think it an imposition.
I take it you wish to buy something illegal?
I can report with some pride that ancient trees (with trunks over a certain diameter) are protected from idiots that want a better view or want some fire-wood.
This can never protect every tree and there are many grounds upon which exceptions can be made for reasons of safety, for example.
It's a same that this were not more wide-spread given the incalculable role of trees in protecting the world's ecosystem.
