Tear jerker.

Post by Harbal »

Some things can make you laugh and some things can make you cry. Here is one of those rare things that can do both at the same time. It certainly made me laugh till I cried.

Reminds me of a time when I was invited to a church, so I got all dudded up. My dad saw me, and I told him where I was going. He didn't stop me, but boy, did he think it was weird.... In retrospect, so did I. It was a really creepy experience.

Kinda feel left out! Not a single emotional response and I listened to it 3 times!

This might help. Surely the gravity-defying hairdos would restore faith in even the most rational of hearts. Jesus USES them.

This doesn't help. Of what use are ridiculous hairdos to Jesus. Something I'm not getting here!

Judging by the comments so far, VT, it seems like you and I are the only ones able to fully appreciate this kind of thing. :)

I know. How do you explain something like that? :?
Btw, why is the little boy kneeling at the man's bed at the beginning, but at the end the man is leaving the room in tears, with the boy now in the bed??? Whose bedroom is it? And why are they both crying?

I don't know, the only thing I can think of is that some people have got an over dominant "take life too seriously' gene.
Btw, why is the little boy kneeling at the man's bed at the beginning, but at the end the man is creeping out of the room in tears,
Yes, I noticed that too. It kind of undermines the credibility of the whole scenario, don't you think?
And why are they both crying?
I think they were just overcome with spiritual wholesomeness.

Well apparently that's the whole song, so now we are left wondering forever. :(

My idea of hell; being locked in a cell with that song on repeat.

I just saw Tommy on TV again, after decades.

Please share with me the majesty of this excerpt.
