Religion In Art
Religion In Art
The artist sees religion in art. Art can develop into a space where one can take off the coat of materialism and...etc.
Re: Religion In Art
Religious construction can be obtained through art practice. The end product of artwork is not totem of worship but relic of journey. The artwork exists as future's hidden potential in the present. Not man (humanism) to worship but void in its depth beyond the parameters of man. Within man is all, yet, etc.

Or not
In fact art is best divorced from it

Re: Religion In Art
In art we can do what we like or want. In art, the many sided box of what, is vanished.
An extract for the Yazid
Their supreme being is known as Yasdan. He is considered to be on such an elevated level that he cannot be worshipped directly

The paintings were like windows to a church, what projecting light into the space of the viewer was.
Re: Religion In Art
And the art connects with re-Logein as a religion
S.Ein
S.Ein
Re: Religion In Art
Re-logein?
Re: Religion In Art
''RE LOG (e) IN''
Legein is a verb (Heidegger) and this word is linked with Logos
Ein as German One (a, an)
Re Log Ein
RE Log One
RE Log a
RE Log an
LOGE - box(?) or God ''of fire''
Loga (the Mediterranean) = the place on the ground where some animals retain permanent.
etc.
''RE Log Ein'' is my construct, my philosophical dancing with words
if I can do it in philosophy? that was the my question.
Thanks.

Re: Religion In Art
Religion found art and asked to sit down, a fire was lit and art welcomed religion to sit and make warm. Nothing was said for sometime, only the crackles and fizzles of the fire, were heard. Finally art spoke, "you have travelled far, and in men's minds have you reached. You held up the sky and secured the floor beneath. Soothing and enlightening, you have given direction where none were before. Man created you as he did me. This we share." This continued for some time, religion sat and listened as art went on, "a house from clay have you built...etc"
